• Flat & low wedge casuals are an essential part of wardrobe essentials this season. You can find a beautiful collection from Zensu, Hush Puppies, MG and Naturalizer. Worn as the ‘everyday’ shoe, be confident by adding different material such as suede and patents in addition to usual leather choices.

• Casual Wedges provide everyday dress/casual comfort with interesting combinations of materials such as patent, leathers and suede.

• Boots are casual this season with a combination mid-height to full length boots with vintage looks and materials, as well as more casual constructions with suede and bolder colour statements. Either flat or on mid-heel heights (Important colours are black, tan and chocolate). Shoe-tees (shoe boots) are an important fashion look which we are showcasing through Naturalizer, MG and Zensu.

• Ath-leisure and casual walking takes a stronger position in autumn/winter 08. Suede is an important material in this category for the season. Merrell, Ecco & Rockport utilize the material in shades of black, chocolate, olive and rose. These are great basic colours that can be worked back into a women’s everyday clothing pallet.

• Black is a very important colour this season, again found in leather, suede & patent.

• The use of embellishment treatments (such as buckles, bows & subtle stitching detail) will be important to define and add a point of difference to footwear, particularly because black is such a dominant colour for the season.

• POP colours for autumn/winter 08 include, shades of purple (including Aubergine), mushroom, rose and olive.

• Oxidized metallic’s, such as pewter, copper and bronze are again important dress colours because of their fashion versatility. These colours appear in casual collections because of their timeless & classic nature.
