 JLD Trading is a Perth based business that specalises in the manufacturing and importing of Mack branded footwear under licence. In 1993 JLD Trading managed to obtain the franchise in Australia and New Zealand for the Mack Boots brand from an American company by the name of ESO who were manufacturing the Mack Boot for the American market.
JLD Trading had very good advertising campaigns to launch the Mack brand into the Australian market, which was an immediate success. However ESO were producing for the American market and therefore in 1995 JLD Trading shifted the Australian and European production to another factory. JLD Trading developed a new range more suitable for this market, with a higher technical content.
In July 1997, JLD Trading obtained worldwide rights to produce, import and distribute Mack footwear.
Mack footwear is today recognised as a leading product of quality footwear in the Australian market, with a constant detail for improvement to styling, comfort and quality.
